Scoring Regulations for 2022/23

GameChanger Classic – live scoring required for all senior grades, and juniors from Intermediate league through to Big League.

We recommend Clubs review their technology asset and prepare for the season.

2 book scorers required, one from each team for State League, Reserves and A Grade PLUS a GameChanger scorer.

All other grades – State Baseball League B, C & D grade, Community Baseball & Women’s Baseball, Home team to score with GameChanger, Away team to score with scorebook.

Home teams submit statistics via GameChanger.

Clubs who fail to provide a scorer for their teams will receive a $25 penalty for each game.

Scorer Qualification requirements:

  • State League: Level 2 scoring accreditation via WABSSA (Level 3 required for 23/24 season)
  • Reserves: Level 1 scoring accreditation via WABSSA (Level 2 required for 23/24 season)
  • Minimum standard other grades: All scorers should attend at least one scoring clinic in the current year.

Congratulations on Life Membership 2022

The WABSSA Committee would like to congratulate Joedy Hardie on becoming a Life Member.

Joedy has been a member of our Committee for 15 years, has participated in several National Youth & other Tournaments and is a scorer for Perth Heat.
